A few weeks ago we attended our ward's Touch the Temple primary activity. At the beginning of this year, our stake president (a local church leader) asked that all church members, no matter their age, have a temple experience this year. Usually temple trips are for members aged 12 and older. The
temple is a sacred place for us, and we were really happy to make to trip to Columbus to share the day with K & T. We went along with several others families who either carpooled there, or met us at the temple. We totaled about 50 in number. I had a big part in the planning and was really happy with how everything turned out.

| This is the front of the Columbus, Ohio temple. There were lots of people around as there were a couple of weddings the morning that we were there. |

| T asked to smell the orange ones...Daddy obliged. :) |

 |
| After a talk by the temple president, and from Shane, we got to work on our activities. One of the most popular was building toothpick/ marshmallow temples. |
 |
| There were lots of coloring and puzzle pages about temple to do too. |
 |
| K loved making this paper temple. Of course she chose the pink paper. This is now hanging on our fridge at home. |
 |
| Daddy helped T make one, and then we ate a picnic lunch with our friends. |

| Our forever family. |
It was a beautiful day to spend together at the temple. I hope and pray that both K & T will understand what a sacred and special place the temple is when they get older. Andy & I were married in the Chicago Temple, and we were sealed to the kids last year in the Columbus temple. These are two of the most important days in my life. I'm so grateful for what I know and for how I feel when I attend the temple. It was a fantastic day!
