I have several long posts in the works as I'm trying to wrap up our summer, but there are a few photos that don't quite 'fit' in, so I'm dumping them into a post of their own! Here's a hodge podge of the recent happenings of K &T.
| Mr. T remains one of the cutest housecleaners of all time. "Pushing',
as he calls the Swiffer, it still a favorite pasttime of this little.
If the laundry room door is open, he will grab the Swiffer and get to
work. He just needs a few reminders to stay on the hardwork and off the
carpet. (And yes, he is wearing K's socks in the pic. He put them on
himself when she took them off to wear flipflops). |
| Here's K's favorite item, her Baby and the stroller. She probably walks miles around the house everyday going on pretend outings. She will be such a great mommy! I have a love/hate relationship with the stroller however, I love that K loves it, but hate the contention it brings between K & T. If K takes her eyes off of it for a second, T's 'stroller sense' kicks in and he runs to get it and drives it away from her. K then gets upset and yells 'T is getting my stwoll-er!". Then we have to problem solve. This happens multiple times a day. I've contemplated getting T his own stroller, but am not sure if he likes the actual stroller, or just teasing K. |
| I just love this teethy smile on this pretty girl, she was teasing me about taking her picture. So I took one. :) |
| This
guy is just handsome. And those eyes! They just glisten and gleam all
day long, especially when he hears music or is up to something. |
| K really is into 'work'. She likes to color, paint, stick stickers to
just about anything and play with playdough. Fine by me, I think about
all she's learning and those good fine motor skills she is developing.
She just thinks she's playing. Recently she started to ask me about to
spell words and she 'writes' them down one letter/scribble at a time. |
| K & T continue to be right at each other's sides for most of the day. I am so thankful that they have each other! |
| He's still putting just about everything in his mouth, doctor said it's completely normal. T's top two two-year molars have come in, but we are still waiting on the bottom two. |
| She. is. obsessed. with. accessories. She doesn't limit herself to just one. I asked Andy if he thought she liked backpacks or accessories more, his answer was right on. "She really likes accessories, but really likes backpacks so she can load them up with accessories and carry lots at once". Yep! |
| This guy likes playdough, he can play for lots of minutes at a time. His favorite tool is the knife so he can chop. "I cutting Mommy, I cutting!" |
| K really likes playdough too. Of course she prefers to work with her favorite colored playdough, pinks and purples ONLY. |
| We have enjoyed playing with S, our niece this summer! She was right at home with the playdough too. |
| Did I mention that K is obsessed with backpacks? This is cousin S's backpack that she brought over with toys to play with. K wore it all afternoon. |
| T has started to request clothing. He usually asks for this helicopter shirt, the one with the robot on it, or his Buzz Lightyear shirt. He is a good sport if we go with another choice though. |
| Summer work in progress. K always goes with her right hand, T is still deciding between hands. |
| Grandma had a birthday, we put this up on facebook to celebrate with her. T's face cracks me up in this picture, and I believe both kids have perfect chins if that's possible. They are adorable! |
| This is K's Halloween costume from last year that now fits T perfectly. Doesn't he look cute? We are already brainstorming costume ideas for this year. Don't know how we will top Mr. T. |
| Two tutus? That's right, K is that special! She did that herself. |
| The End of this post. ;) |
