On the move, part two

T is growing up so quickly!  He is army crawling all over the house and get just about anywhere he wants.  He does get up on his hands and knees occasionally, but he much faster with the army crawl.  He is a teething machine right now too.  The fourth tooth on his bottom row finally made its appearance, his two front top teeth have cut through, and the doc. said there are two more coming in on the top.  T's drool can be found throughout the house despite the constant presence of a bib, he leaves a trail like a snail.  He's a pretty cute snail though.  :)   He continues to be a laidback baby, he's usually quite happy, he gives giant smiles and he loves his family.

T looks for K all day and likes to be playing RIGHT NEXT TO HER even though she may object at times.  He grabs her toys, put his fingers into her mouth, pulls her hair, touches/slaps her, tries to play with what she's playing and she, in turn, is learning to be a patient sister.  We are trying to teach her to put her special toys up on the couch to keep T's distance.  T can pull himself up to stand now and is attempting little steps as he holds onto furniture. He is always standing in his crib when we go to get him after naps. It's so amazing how quickly his little body has learned to move.  One of T's favorite spots in the house are by the vents.  He knows where they are in each room, crawls over to them, bangs on them and lets the cool air blow on his face.  He has also taking a liking to the door stops that we have behind every door.  He could play with those for minutes on end!  Here are a few shots of T on the go.

T is also becoming quite the eater!  Getting him to eat cereal is tough now because he wants what we're eating.  He turns his head to the back of his chair in protest to me feeding him.  I've found that if I put puffs or other finger foods on his tray I can sneak bites of cereal in while he's picking up these foods. These pictures of T eating a mini-frozen waffle to help ease some of his teething pain.

Those baby blues just melt my heart.  T turned 9 months old on Sunday, that's unbelievable!  We had the kids at the doctor this week for their shots and learned that T is 18 pounds now.  He has also grown 1.25 inches since our last doctor visit. He is a healthy and happy little boy.  Andy pointed out to me on Sunday that we've known T for almost half of his little life.  What an honor it is to have him with us.  He adds such joy to our home, we love, love, love you Mr. T!
