A couple of weekends ago our ward at church had a father-son campout. Andy wanted to take T, but we weren't sure how T would do with the sleeping part. Andy opted to take T for dinner and games, and then come home to sleep. T was really excited to go on an adventure with Daddy, they are best friends.

| I took a picture of father and son just before they left. |

| Andy sent me this photo to show me what a good time they were having. Fire roasting 4 hot dogs? Sure looks like grand time! |
I got the full report when they got home and we got T in the bath. They had a blast, and T was upset that he had to come home. We expected that, and promised him that we would camp as a family first, so he'd be ready for the next campout. Andy said T's favorite parts of the campout were the firepit, playing in the soccer game, and just running around in the dirt with his pal F.
K & I took advantage of the boys being gone, and went out for a girls' night. We met up with about 20 other ladies at a local Mexican restaurant and had a great meal and a good time. K, being the great taster that she is, tried just about everything on my plate and hers. We also learned that she loves chips and salsa! I'm not kidding when we say she has the taste buds of a 65 year old lady. :)

| We had a little lesson about double dipping her chips. She just couldn't understand why such a rule was necessary if there was more salsa in the bowl and she still had chip left. We'll continue to work on it. |
 |
| After dinner she & I walked down to a yummy ice cream stand that she loves. She usually gets a bowl, but ventured out and got a cone. She's growing up so very quickly! What a fun night we all had! | | | | | | | | | |
