party like a princess

Miss K said she wanted a princess party, not naming any princess in particular, just wanted it princess-y.  So we planned a bash fit for our four year old princess.  When we talked about her party, she said she wanted to play some games, have a cookie cake, and open presents. :)  It was so much fun watching her enjoy herself at her party, and hope that we made her birthday dreams come true.  We love you Miss K!

Me & K just before the party began. She had fun running errands with me the morning of the party, and choosing some of the last minute details.  She seemed to be in heaven in the party store.

K could literally sit and hold J forever.  She adores him. It would have been a party to her if they just sat together all day.  She loves babies.  For real.

T is loving on baby J too.  Not sure that J is loving it though  :)

Here's a picture of one of my favorite Aussie treats that my mom makes, sausage rolls!  There were perfect for K's soup party.  These are always popular no matter where we've taken them to.

K really likes soup of all kinds, so her daddy made a batch of his yummy chicken and rice soup.  It's sooooo good.

Our princess was ready for her first game, Kiss the Frog!  Of course her eyes had to covered...

and I must not have stated too clearly that one was to put the paper pucker on the frog, not your own lips, because the above happened.

We moved on to our next game, Tangled.  We used yellow streamers to represent Rapunzel's hair, and one partner tried to tangle the princess up.  Of course we needed to wear princess dresses while doing so.

Then it got crazy.  S is so happy about it too!

After the games, it was cookie cake time. Pink and purple, just perfect for our princess.  T opted for a cupcake, but wanted his own candle.

And finally, it was present time.  Pink legos were popular with this princess!

and she loved these pink princess pajamas that actually came from Disney World.   They are darling.

Her wish came true, K opened a mermaid dress up with a glorious red wig.  She's been talking about it for weeks.

Oooo, play pizza and cake, yeah!  We are all excited.  There are play candles!  Just think about the birthday parties we will have. 

And the very last one, a doll house.  Something we are sure she will play with forever, it came with babies!  Somehow I managed to not get a picture of my parents who were there at the party,  I'm sorry Nana & Papa.  Thank you for coming!

Happy, happy 4th birthday K.  You are such a beautiful princess, both inside and out.
