ward dinner

We attended our annual ward Christmas dinner in December to celebrate the Christmas season with our church family. It's always a fun time.
Playing around at the photo booth while we waited to eat.
She loves a good accessory.
Waving hello
One of my favorite pictures of the night.
My pal Heather & her daughter Kr.
Not the best shot, but the only picture I have at dinner.
This is our Bishop who took pictures with the kids.
The theme of the night was International Christmas.  Nana shared about Australia.
Nana's things from Down Under that she brought to share.
There was an entertainment portion of the evening as well, with singing and dancing.  These ladies were showing a hula dance.

K LOVED it!  From the moment the music started she had her eyes glued to the stage and copied every move that the ladies did.  She was so much fun to watch!
Later Nana got into the action with the kids.  She's cool like that.
Proof.

The primary children did a great job singing their Christmas songs.  I always love watching them.
We had a cookie contest this year, here are the winners.
The most popular event was the balloon artist who worked hard all night.  K & T waited very patiently for their turns.  K chose this cute little love bug.
And no shocker here, T chose a sword.
Thanks for a great evening ward family!  Can't wait for next year.
