Grandma time

Christmas Eve morning we had plans this year.  Instead of just staying in pjs and dreaming of Christmas or doing last minute shopping, this year we met up with Andy's mom for breakfast and exchanging gifts.  We had a delicious meal, and the company was even better.  K & T really love being with their Grandma.

K knew what she wanted at the pancake house, pancakes of course! Look at the size of these ones!

T saw the picture of blueberry waffles on the menu and decided that was what he wanted.  It was a great choice too.

Back at Grandma's, K & T jumped on her exercise trampoline.  Pretty sure only one person should be on there at a time, but it was hard to convice them of that.

We had a few presents for Grandma, including one that K was really excited to give.  Grandma opened it carefully while K watched intently.

Grandma was shocked at what it was.

K was so pleased that she had painted a rainbow picture for Grandma.  Grandma looks pretty happy too.

We also gave her a grandparent gift, and a book of our ABC summer.  We had such fun making gifts this year!

Both kiddos love to explore at Grandma's house.  Things were quiet for a couple of minutes, so I went looking.  Found T sitting in her front room with this stuffed pig.  

We are so happy that Grandma bought us a zoo pass again this year.  It's absolutely one of our favorite places to go.  She also had something special for the kids.  T was super excited, just look at that face!

T wanted to play with these right away!  He has taken them to Heather's, zoomed them all over our house, and has taken them to play with in the car while we run errands.  He really likes them.

Oh my goodness, just look at what K opened!  She has just loved playing with this and doing all sorts of 'hairdos'.  I don't actually mind playing with it either.  :)
