golden springtime: Spraygrounds

Since it's Summer, we are taking the opportunity to play outside as much as possible. In the past couple of weeks we have visited a couple of spraygrounds with friends and family to cool off in the hot sun. Both K & T are getting much more comfortable with the spraying water, and I'm getting a little smarter in remembering to bring a few toys to play with. Yeah for all of us!

A good friend of mine who is also an Art teacher at my school joined us on a recent adventure. She is so good with kids and both K & T loved playing with her. We can't wait to play again!

After all of that playing it was time for lunch. This is the best pic I had, even though T is hamming it up with a banana. :) We were joined by a duck at lunch that ate every crumb we dropped except the Craisin from T.

After lunch K & T changed into dry clothes and we hit the playground. T climbed all over everything.

These shoes belonged to some girls who were also playing on the playground. T naturally had to try them on despite his mother's protests. T + shoes = happy boy. We ended the day with a beautiful walk through the park. Thanks again Leslie!

We took a trip to another sprayground with Nana & cousin S and had a blast! We've been to this park before and as I mentioned earlier, K & T are beginning to love the spraying water. It helps to have S along to help encourage them and show K & T exactly how to have the most fun. :)
