Our backyard has gone through a major transformation since the kids came home last year and my parents have had A LOT to do with it. They are incredible! My mom is a master gardener. She has a true green thumb and has really helped us get our yard together. She recently spent a few days over here weeding, planting and helping tame our flower garden. Of course K & T loved to see her and wanted to help with every step possible to which she kindly obliged. My dad has been putting in some hard labor too. Last year he & Andy built our backyard fence in sweltering heat, and this year they built a pergola on our back porch to give us some shade. It turned out so beautiful and it is so much more comfortable to sit and play in the back of the house now. I've taken lots of photos of our recent backyard fun in the sun. Warning, long post! :)
