We're just feeling lucky on this St. Patrick's Day that we get to spend it with these two. In honor of this grand day, here are 10 fun facts about K & T that we've noticed recently.
K-
1. Speaks in almost complete sentences, continues to say her emotions (I'm sad, I'm laughing) and then has little or no action to support it
2. Wants to wear the same pair of pajamas every night. She got them at Christmas from Aunt Shelley. They are white footie pjs with fairy princess and sparkly glitter. And they are a size 2 and are now tight squeeze. She won't fit them much longer as she's getting so tall!
3. Will try any food at least once.
4. She runs, skips and jumps everywhere. One of her favorite activities is to jump on the bed.
5. K loves her new light up gym shoes. She points the lights out to everyone, even strangers.
6. She has learned to do a somersault on her own.
7. Was recently upset because she couldn't get into the cribs when we were at Babies' R Us. She kept telling us that she wanted to "Nite, Nite".
8. Spontaneously tells us that she loves us, complete with a hug. That is the best
9. Likes running errands, knows that our Kroger bakery has free cookies (even though she doesn't really have a sweet tooth) and that Meijer has a horse to ride on for a penny.
10. She can put her coat on by herself pre-school style (lays it on the ground, stands by the hat, puts arms in sleeves and flips it over her head)
T-
1. Is cutting two new teeth on the top, and there's a couple more in the works on the bottom.
2. Likes to eat mini pancakes, broccoli, black olives, grapes, blueberries, apple slices, pizza & hot dogs
3. Has found a screaming voice, and will do it for any reason
4. Loves his new shoes. Points them out the everyone, including strangers. (Shopping with these two is an adventure, you will get talked to!)
5. Speaks in 3 word sentences," I want it, I'm mad, I like it"
6. Likes to sit down and look at books, especially if it has a sound button
7. Rocks his whole body to "Walk Like a Man" by the Four Seasons, and anything the Elvis at Jungle Jim's sings
8. Slides down the stairs on his belly at lightening speed
9. Tries to do a somersault. Jumps on the bed with K. Wanted to get in the cribs at Babies R Us. Monkey see, monkey do.
10. Has become fascinated with looking for birds out the window. He will yell "birdie, birdie" until we come and see what he sees out the window.
