We had a blast this past Saturday at my school's annual carnival. I was able to help to work the 'walking taco' stand in the morning, and then Andy brought K & T up about noon for some serious fun. I kept telling K that this was my school, where I work, so she probably thinks it's a carnival there every day. :) T wasn't sure where to look first when we walked into the gym that had lots of games to play, his head kept going back and forth just staring at the people. K was excited to play games, especially when she discovered that every game had a prize! We sampled lots of carnival food; hot dogs are always a hit, but cotton candy wasn't with K & T. We also enjoyed talking with lots of students that I know who were anxious to meet K & T. A big thanks to our PTA for such a grand day!

| K could have played at this huge sink all day, seems like this was one of her favorite games! We didn't even think about letting T near it...we knew that he'd never leave. |

| Both kids watched this Home Depot mascot walk around but hedged about taking a picture with him. T wanted to be at a safe distance.... |
| K wouldn't go near him. See the concern in her face? She kept telling me, "I don't like that guy". |
| Cotton candy is a must at any carnival, but K & T couldn't get past the texture. They don't know what they are missing! |
| Trying shaved ice |
| "Cooooooooooold!" |
| K liked the ice a bunch, "I do it", "I do it". Guess my spoonfuls weren't big enough. |
| Turns out he liked it a bunch too! |
| Watching the Home Depot guy from afar. The perfect distance if you're one or two. |

| Zonked out. K followed too. See you next year carnival! |
