Applefest

Applefest is one of our favorite end of summer activities to do as a family.  The weather is usually perfect, I heart looking at all of the crafts, and the eats are good too.  For years I've been dreaming about taking our future kids to events like this (please don't judge me, a momma wanna be can dream), and this year we finally we got to!  WooHoo!  We met up with Emma and my parents after the drive on that beautiful Saturday morning, and set out for the day.  We snapped some pictures of our adventure.
Meeting up with everyone, my dad was itching to take the stroller from us and lead the way.
I think we're ready!
See the endless tents?  Most of them are craft booths!!!  My mom is such a smartie, she remembered to bring a bag to hold all of the treasures she found.
Of course we bought some apples. Yum!
Daddy really enjoyed carrying T, and T loved the people watching.
Where's Papa?  Oh yeah, still pushing the stroller...
T trying his first sip of apple cider.  He kept smacking his lips for more.
A stranger offered to take our picture.  Thank you stranger!
Proud papa helping keep the balloon out of K's way.
After a while K wanted to explore using her own feet. (Aunt Em bought her the shirt)
What are those???
Alpacas!
The mums were so pretty everywhere.
This just seems so fall-ish.
K wanted to go back to see the alpacas, so Nana took her.

Papa and T taking a cookie break.
We found this treasure in a thrift store, she played it for most of the afternoon!  Thank you Nana!
Hungry for a snack, K munched on this apple for quite a while.
Pretty good eating right?  We have to remind her to not eat the stem or seeds.
Love.

Taking a break from the action, it's almost time to go home.
Here's our stroller at the end of the trip, pretty loaded down right?
About 5 minutes into the drive home we snapped this nap action from T.  He's so cute.
Cutie Pie K was out too, that's the sign of a terrific day!  (Note the pen still in her hand)
Thank you helping us kick off fall Applefest!
 See you next year!
