Q is for Queen City

We live in a beautiful city, and we chose Q day to explore a new space in our place.  Nana, Auntie Shelley, S, and baby J joined us for our adventure that included water, sun & ice cream!
We started off at the new Smale park, it's right on the riverbank of the Ohio River.
There is a lot to do there, including this foot keyboard that really worked!
This elliptical-like swing was fun too.
After a walk through the park, we walked across the street to this beautiful indoor carousel.  Every creature on it has some special significance to Cincinnati. Above is a Bengal tiger.
T chose this tribute the Reds to ride on.
This one was my favorite, Go Bearcats!
K elected for this one dedicated to the Cincinnati Ballet.
A quick selfie.  I just love this little man!
Just outside the carousel was one of several splashpads at Smale Park.  The kids had a blast splashing around and cooling off. I took lots of pictures of them having fun in the sun.

All of us had fun at the splashpad, including Shelley & Baby J!
We took another walk through the park to dry off and to swing on these beautiful swings that overlook the river.
I could have sat here forever!
My cute swing partner.
After all of that fun we were hungry for lunch.  Skyline was the perfect answer as we were still celebrating our city.  K & T love Skyline.   K usually goes for a kids' 3 way, while T wants a hot dog with lots of cheese on the side.
We finished up our Queen City tour with a stop at Graeter's ice cream. T chose cotton candy and K wanted strawberry both with sprinkles.

Black Raspberry Chip is the favorite flavor of many people in our family, K too.  Yum!
Q is for Queen City.  Thank you Cincinnati for giving us a fantastic family day!
