P is for Play!

Playing is something that these two do really well. P day was a perfect day to celebrate all things about Play!  From pretending to puzzles, to painting, we had so much fun celebrating P!  It was a pretty awesome day.

T & K started the day playing 'camping' in our front room.  This was a popular game this summer, they gather up 'supplies' for their journeys and head out to the living room to set up camp.
She's pretending to ride her zebra, she thought of the bead leash herself.
T is pretending to sleep/hide/camp.
And of course, it wouldn't be pretending if there weren't dress up involved.  This girlie loves to work the accessories!
Just one of the puzzles the kids put together for P day.
These creative minds said they were pretending to have bunk beds when the rearranged our beanbags in the basement. (How do they even know bunk beds exist?)
Playing games
more dress up!
An action shot, this guy moves all day long.
Back upstairs we got out the paints, of course K chose pinkandpurple to paint with.
First we painted with brushes...
and then tried our thumbs and fingers.
Purple thumb.
I helped them use their fingers and thumbs to paint these insects.  Cute right?
Trying to get a picture of these two posing perfectly is a bit tough right now.
But I love them anyway!
P is for Play.  I wish everyday could be a play day!
