We had a bang up good time at T's 4th birthday where we celebrated pirate style, per T's request. He has been into pirates for at least a year, so it was no surprise whatsoever that he wanted to play with swords, have a pirate cake and talk like a pirate at his party. T smiled the entire celebration, and loved having all of his favorite people come over and play with him. It was such a fun day!

| T loves books, so I read aloud How I Became a Pirate by David Shannon & Melinda Long to the crowd as one of our activities. It's a great book for this, there's clear bold type that the group repeated back in a pirate crew style. I wish I would have recorded it. |

| Of course, we had a couple of pirate games to play. This one is a pirate balancing game. K is really good at this one. We have played it a lot since the party too. |

| T & N busted out this Pop-a-Pirate game, it's right up T's ally. One has to push swords into the barrel and the pirate pops out, but there's lots of holes to choose and the games changes the hole each time. It's really fun! |

Happy, Happy birthday T! It was so much fun planning this pirate party, I knew you would love anything and everything. You are easy to please when it comes to having fun. We love you to the moon & back little man!
