spring break- day 5

On the Friday of Spring Break it rained, and rained and rained!  We had made inside plans, and thank goodness we did. We met up with our Summer playgroup at a local arcade/party zone.  K & T didn't really know what to look at first!  We had been here just one other time for a birthday party, and it had been awhile.  They could do so much more this visit. I really miss their babyness at times, but it really is so much fun to see them growing into such smart and healthy young people. They amaze me every day.
K & B trying to drive while we bought tokens. Their little legs didn't reach the pedals, but they didn't mind one bit.
K really enjoyed the bowling. She was proud of herself every time she knocked down pins.
Giving me a quick smile so that she could get back to the game. She's into putting her hands on her hips now.
T learned to be a little patient with the ball to be successful.
And K cheered for him too!
My smiley boy
Rosie with her boys L & J, they are some of our favorite playmates.
Kelly with Au & Av, with Rosie and boys.
Amanda & B complete the group! (C, Amanda's baby was sleeping through all of this)
K waited patiently for her turn.
She had a ball!
Sweet baby C was a trooper.
After mini-bowling, we headed for putt putt, it was glow in the dark, which was awesome.
This was our first time doing putt putt with them, and K & T learned to hit the ball and quickly run to grab it. Next time we might aim for the holes.  :)
Daddy really tried to teach them what to do.
He reminded them to be patient and aim.
But we usually all ended up together at the end of the hole.  We will keep practicing!
We played a few games before lunch, sometimes we even put in tokens.  :)
We even won sometimes too!

K liked this dancing game, even though it was all in Japanese, literally.

The boys really liked Guitar Hero.
There was lots of driving games too.

Getting our jam on.

Guess which game was T's favorite?  This one!  He and B stood there shooting for a bit, but we didn't actually let them play.
This seemed more up our alley.
T was great at it!
We rode one last motorcycle game before we left.  These kiddos were tuckered out.
The rain let up just enough for us to grab some Panera close by.
This girl loves soup no matter where we are.
It was so much fun to have Daddy with us on our playgroup date.  We did lots of new things today. You guessed it, it makes me even more anxious for Summer!!
