Today is the anniversary of K & T's adoption day. We've been an official family for two years! What a fantastic day that was, one that we prayed for for so long. I count my blessings every day that the court system worked for us. So many loops and hoops that could have been obstacles in our quest to become a family just weren't. Again, we are grateful for K & T's birth and foster families who put the best interests of the kids above the own. What a very noble act. I know, without a doubt, that the Lord's hand were behind it all. My heart is so full as I think about our two little blessings that are asleep upstairs. They are each such bright, funny, and adorable human beings.
K is growing up into quite a young lady. She loves anything sparkly, shiny or covered in glitter. She loves to snuggle and cuddle, and always has a stuffed animal near that she is caring for. K likes princesses, mermaids and accessories of all sorts. She likes art projects, outside projects, playing in the sandbox, blowing bubbles, swinging on swings, reading books, playing on the ipad and bossing her little brother around. She is a rule follower and a people pleaser to the core. She is a mother's dream!
T is a big spirit squished in a little body. He has more energy and zest for life then anyone I've ever met. He has such a terrific sense of humor for an almost-three old. He teases, taunts and gives the best hugs. He always has a tool, sword or ball in his hand. He likes to be read to, danced with, sung to, tickled & chased. He loves to do anything outside, this includes riding bikes, digging in the dirt, blowing bubbles, kicking a ball or climbing up and down our slide. He will always be my little baby boy no matter how tall he grows!
Happy Adoption Day K & T, you made our dreams come true! We love you to the moon & back!
