We recently took a little trip to a celebration that was all about books. K & T go to story time at our local library each week with my mom, and the librarian was the one who talked about what a neat event it was. It was a beautiful Saturday for a drive, and since all four of us love books, we were excited to go. This event was much more then I expected, we all had so much fun and we are already talking about next year! Here's a look at us celebrating books.

| Andy got a chuckle when he saw the "Bill" from School House Rock when we walked in. K wanted to know if he was a real guy or not. She was happy to pose for a picture when we said it was fake. |

| T & K enjoyed making their very own books using a Japanese style of art called stab binding. They've been using their books at home to draw and color on the blank pages. |

| So, there were several of K & T's favorite characters walking around from some of their very favorite books. How cool is that? A first grade teacher's dream come true! Curious George, come on, he tops the list for K & T. I was so excited to start snapping some pics of K & T with their guys when they starting telling me that they didn't want too. There may have even been a few tears. :( Oh no! I didn't realize how scared they were! What's a mommy to do? |

| We moved on to the craft table where K & T were much happier. They did, however, keep an eye out for the characters walking around and got a bit nervous if they got too close. |

| We decided to grab some lunch since the weather was so nice outside. We found a yummy Cuban sandwich food truck for us, and a pancake truck for the kids. We were all happy. |
