He has really come into finding his own independence. He wants to do everything K can do, and everything Mommy & Daddy can do too. He wants to be big. I tease him all the time about putting him into a little box to keep him from growing. He then will tease me right back, show me five fingers and say, "Mom, I'm gonna be this many, I'm gonna break your heart!" Then I pretend to cry because he's growing up way too fast for my liking. For real.
T is such a fun little boy. He still has those beautiful baby blues. He still has that gorgeous face, but it's his personality that shines and shines and shines. He speaks his mind. He wants his way. He makes me laugh. He wants to be big. Have I mentioned that?
I've been especially mindful of him these past few days as I've thought about him turning three. He was just a wee one when we brought him home, just five months old. We've watched him cut every tooth, learn to scoot, crawl, walk and run. We've listened to his first words, first sentences and now his stories. We've prayed for him and now with him. And he's grown into this incredible, creative and smart little boy who we continue to love with all of our hearts. Boy oh boy, are we lucky. Happy Birthday Mr. T! You are my favorite little boy in the whole world, my heart's desire & my wish come true.
He let me take all of these pictures yesterday for just two sour gummy worms!
