We celebrated K's bday this weekend, and our whole family was so excited about it! See?
I'm not sure if they really understood what was happening, but over the past few weeks we talked about K's wishes for her get together. She had a couple of requests...

| She wanted a pinkandpurple party. That's not a typo, she says it as if they are one color. Pinkandpurple. |

| She wanted balloons. Check! |

| And she wanted a giraffe cake. |
 |
| K's Nana made an awesome giraffe for sweet K, and surprised her by making it PINK! Nana rocks. |

| To begin the party, the cousins started playing a few board games, Candyland was a favorite. |

| Then we had some yummy lunch. Pasta e fagioli soup (my friend Jen's delicious recipe), veggie pizza, tons of fruit and rolls. |

| Present Time! We have such an awesome family who spoiled Miss K beyond measure. |

| Nana and Papa got her a BOX of dress up clothes, she's in heaven! |

| Aunt Sarah & Uncle Miguel brought K a very soft princess blanket. She hasn't slept without it since! |

| What cuteness! Grandma & Beth chose this beautiful tutu with a cute snowflake shirt that K immediately wanted to put on. |

| T ran for K's now 'old' tutu as soon as he saw her new one. |

| And when your mom's a teacher, you know you're gonna get some books! |

| We all knew this was going to happen. |

| Aunt Joan brought K this terrific mailbox. It has a key and wooden postcards for the kids to play with. It's a new favorite already. |

| Mommy & Daddy bought K the klip klop stable after watching K play with it every time we've gone to Target since the end of the summer. Daddy put it together before her party so she wouldn't have to wait to play with it. |

Happy, happy birthday Miss K! Your pinkandpurple party turned out to be a pretty pretty princess party and you LOVED every moment of it. T did too! I just know you have another great year ahead of you!
