Christmas Eve- part 2

Just a few more pics from Christmas Eve, it's been fun to think of what traditions we would like to start with K & T.  We got them each an ornament this year and put a family picture in it from our first Easter weekend together, our first pic of the 4 of us taken together.  We hope to give them an ornament each year to commemorate something special that happened that year or their current interests as they get older.

After watching a little Rudolph and eating some popcorn, it was bedtime and we just a couple of things left to do.  

We left cookies and milk out for Santa ( we, of course, poured the milk later so it would be cold for him).

K & I went outside to leave the food for the reindeer that she had made at Breakfast with Santa.  She was so excited!

Sprinkle, Sprinkle!

We went back inside and gave K & T baths.  They wore their new jammies to bed that night after singing a couple of songs and stories as is our bedtime routine. 

We told K that Santa would be coming to give her a present during the night, but I don't know how much she actually understood.  Both kids actually slept in on Christmas Morning, yeah for us!  This probably won't be happening in a couple of years!
