C is for Camp

K was uber excited about letter C, it was for camp.  Princess Dance Camp to be precise.  She has been talking about doing dance again, and we signed her up for this week long camp to help her decide if she wants to continue on with it.  And of course she loves princesses too, this was a great week to be K!

Miss K on her first day of class.
T insisted on climbing these statues every time we dropped K off and picked her up.
While K was at camp, T & I had lots of fun together on little mommy-son dates.  We went flip flop shopping (this is the first year he has wanted to wear them) and got his hair cut one day.
Always a handsome boy.
We went to Target to play the Wii games.  He likes anything Mario.
This is K on another day of camp, the girls were invited to dress up like any princess they wanted to be.  Each day a different Disney princess visited the camp and talked to the girls.
K asked me to try to braid her hair like Elsa.  I watched a youtube video to learn this one.
Another Target day.  He could be here for hours.
She is stunning.
Beautiful girl!
This was another braid we tried one day.
On the last day of camp, there was a performance that families were invited to come and watch.  Look at all of these princesses!
While families were getting seated, a slide show of what the girls did during the week played.  K is on the screen on the left.
She explained later that she is being tangled by Rupenzel's hair.
K & Ariel.  She was so excited to meet her and listened to her sing.
K & Belle.  Belle read a book to the girls and encouraged them to study hard in school.
My camera decided to not function during the girls' performance, but it was adorable.  K has learned the song, Lost Boy by Ruthie B. at camp this week.  She danced with her group to it during the performance, and now wants me to 'turn it up' when we're driving in the car and it comes on the radio.
At the very end of the performance, each girl was escorted off the stage and given a book of their pictures to remind them of camp, and a Rapunzel braid to tuck into their hair.
C is for Camp.  It was a great week for us all!
