Earlier this summer we took a roadtrip to see Andy's grandpa, who lives outside of Chicago. We thought of it as a practice run for the beach trip that would happen later in the summer. It was such a great weekend with family, we enjoyed lots of laughs, and good food, and best of all we got to spend time with Andy's 95 year old grandpa. We love that guy!

| The ipad showing Disney flicks, and a giant lollipop help the kids enjoy their time in the car. |
| T thought that these stackers were super fun. Thank you Target dollar bin! |
| This girl could and would do magic ink books all day long, she was excited for a new one for the trip. |
| Mmmm...Portillos, one of our favorite places to eat in the windy city. |
| They have yummy hot dogs, great salads, and delicious chocolate cake. |
| After getting stuck in construction, we were happy to get out and play in Grandpa's backyard. |
| Beth, Sarah & Andy's mom met us at Grandpa's for some family fun. K loves to play with Beth! |
| Grandpa has always had a beautiful garden, I couldn't resist taking a few more photos of the kids with his flowers. |
