Last week we ventured out to the zoo, a planned trip that turned out to be the coldest day of the week. After several days in the 70's and beautiful weather, we actually woke up to some snow on the ground! We didn't let that deter us however, and bundled up to see our zoo's famous blooms on that chilly morning.
| See that little white fleck on T's lip? Yep, that's snow. He scooped a bunch into his mouth from that rhino statue before I could stop him. Silly boy. |
| Auntie Em & Nana joined us on the trip, we love to play with them! |
| Pensive pretty girl taking a 'ride' on the rhino. |
| Cutie kids in front of some of the zoo's blooms! |
| Nana & the kiddos, don't know who's happier to be together. |
| I love these tulips, there are so, so many! |
| We had the train all to ourselves, Em & T grabbed the back seat. |
| K & Nana on the choo-choo, taking it all in. |
| Nana and T brushing the goats, it's always good fun. |
| K getting in on the action |
| Em preferred to stay on the outside of the fence, but took a turn feeding them. Ewww, slimy tongues! |
| Guess who seemed to love the cooooooold weather.... |
| us! We had the zoo to ourselves! |
| Thank goodness this gator isn't real because... |
| monkey see, monkey do is back in action! |
| More blooms |
| We had the carousel to ourselves, riding it 5 times in a row! |
| We all loved it. |
| The carousel is K's favorite. |
| See? |
One last shot of this handsome boy, love his little profile.

We had a great time at the zoo, as always. Next time, let's hope the sun comes out!
