K's talk

Today K gave her first talk at church in primary, which is children's Sunday School.  In our church, when children are 3 years old, they begin to attend primary and have lots of opportunities to speak and share in front of others.  We worked on her talk all week.  The topic we were given was about Heavenly Father's Plan for His Children.  I asked K several questions, and then used her responses to write her talk.  When it was her turn, she walked right up to the podium, she spoke clearly into the microphone as I read her the lines and she was so proud of herself when she was done.  She did great!  We couldn't be prouder of her.  She continues to learn new things every day, and is proving herself to be a wonderful, beautiful, obedient and smart little girl!

Do you know that I am special?  Do you know that you are special too?  Everyone has a special place in their family.  Heavenly Father planned it that way.  My brother T & I are adopted.  That means we are loved by lots & lots of people.  We went to the temple to be sealed to our mommy & daddy.  I will get to live with my family forever now!  I know Heavenly Father has a plan for His children.  I am special to my family and they are special to me.  I love my Nana & Papa.  I love my Grandma, my Aunt Sarah & Uncle Miguel, all of my other aunts and uncles and all of my cousins.  I love my friends too.  We pray for our family & our birth family every night.  Heavenly Father had a great plan for me, and I love being with my family.  I like to play with them. I know they love me.  I know I am special, In Jesus' name, Amen.
