Our Christmas celebration actually carried into boxing day! The kids had so much fun playing with the toys they had gotten the previous two days, and between driving to family, eating and naps, we ran out of time to open presents at our house on Christmas. I don't even know if the kids realized it, and again, Andy & I chuckled about this probably not happening too many more years as K & T become more aware of traditions.
So, on the morning of the 26th, we got up at our regular time, ate breakfast, and let the kids play, play play. Mid-morning Andy & I couldn't stand it anymore, and asked them to come into the living room to open presents.

| He doesn't look too excited about this play vacuum, but he loves it! Whenever we vacuum now, he's right there with us, moving chairs and everything. We got the idea for this gift because he plays with the play vacuum at our dear friend Heather's each week when he's there. Thanks for the tip Heather! |

| Some new books for T. David is one of his favorite characters, and the book on the left plays primary songs that we sing at church. He walks around singing along, it's adorable! |

| A fun flashlight and shadow book from some friends of ours, the flashlights even play sounds! Believe you-me that they immediately wanted to take these into the bathroom and play. (There aren't windows in there). |

| Trikes! They have been riding these around in the house since our weather has been so crazy. Once it warms up, we'll let them take them outside on our walks. |

| K slowed down, begrudgingly, for just a minute for me to snap a shot of her on her bike. The seat lifts up for a bit of storage, and she packs it full with her favorite little toys as she rides. |
That concludes our Christmas 2013, it was a joyous time of year! May the Spirit of Christmas remain in our hearts all the year through!
