bedtime pals

I've written about K & T's favorite toys before, but just wanted to share that they continue to be the same.  Both kids like to be surrounded by lots of faves in their beds, but Baby & Friend are must have's at bedtime. K used to carry Baby around all of the time, but recently Baby has been spending time in K's bed while K plays with other toys.  Baby also gets time outs, gets books read to, and gets to come along on K's pretend trips to Costco and Target. Each night after our goodnight talk, a couple of songs and a prayer, K insists that I wrap Baby up in her brown blanket while I sing Skid-a-ma-rink.  Then all is right with the world and K can go to sleep.

 T's Friend continues to be dragged downstairs each morning and T can be found holding him throughout the day.  Friend must be taken upstairs at naptime each afternoon, or T cannot sleep.  Apparently Friend likes snuggles and cuddles, but also likes to be thrown high in the air and across the room.  T does a lot of these things each day.  If Friend has accidentally jumped ship (aka, T has thrown him out of his crib), cries of protest and help come from T until Friend returns.  We are thankful that T finds comfort in Friend, anything to help our little man sleep!
