Polar Express

Before Christmas we attended my school's Polar Express night.  K & T always enjoy visiting "Mommy's work", and I like sharing some of what I do with them.  The night was a lot of fun for everyone and helped us gear up a little bit more for Christmas.
We started the evening with some minute to win it activities, the kids were supposed to stack these cups in a pyramid/Christmas tree shape.
We all thought that the decorations were awesome, T especially loved the train.
These lights looked beautiful going down the hallway with the snowflakes.
How festive!
Waiting in line for the marshmallow toss, another minute to win it game.
Love this face!  He was surprisingly patient waiting for his turns.
After the games it was time for hot chocolate & cookies.  We skipped the drink, but enjoyed the snack.
Finally, we got to watch a reading of the book, The Polar Express in the library.  K was very attentive.
Santa was there, but we just waved at him since we knew we would be having breakfast with him a few days after this.
Our building was having a Christmas door decorating contest, this was one of K's favorites.  She liked that she was about the same size as the penguin.
We saw lots of friends during the evening, including one of our favorite families, the G family!
It was a great night!
