A little evening fun

We are trying to make every moment count of the summer, and tonight I wanted to document what K has been up to lately.   Our strawberries are quickly ripening after we put in new plants this year and K really likes to come out and help herself while we are watering our plants in the evening.  She knows to pick the red ones, and we are working on getting the stems off before she eats them, but we don't always get them.  :)  She doesn't seem to mind.  She is SUPER INDEPENDENT and tries to pick/clean/eat all on her own.   It's so much fun to watch!
She is looking for the red, juicy ones!

I think she found one!

Trying to get a good one.

Working hard at harvesting!

Success!

Love this strawberry smile.
Another trick up K's sleeve is her smartness.  We have been working on naming/pointing to her body parts and she loves to strut her stuff.  Here she is showing off just a bit.
Teeth

Tongue

Eye (can you just hear her saying it along with me?)

Ears

Hair

Toes

Hands

Knees
After the strawberries and the show & tell, it was dinner time.
K really likes to 'dip' items in ketchup and ranch.  Tonight she ate seasoned oven fries, peas, cheese and carrots.  You can see the ranch on her mouth, along with the carrot that she dipped in ketchup.  She did this more than once!  Interesting.
After dinner we played for a little while, read a couple books and she grabbed some of her favorite things.
Don't these remind you of Little Miss Spider?

We're channeling our inner CeeLo up in this.

Cheese!

We love this little one like crazy cakes!
Let's end with a pretty girl.  You're awesome Miss K!
