Valentine's Day was on a Sunday this year. After church we came home, changed into comfy clothes, cuddled on the couch and unwrapped small gifts that we had for one another. After lunch, we worked together to make dessert for our vday dinner, and enjoyed the afternoon together. I just love the people who live in my house!

| Unwrapping a few gifts. These sweeties got me beautiful flowers for valentine's day, I loved them! |

| K loves her new ponies. |
| He got right to work spreading out the playmat and checking each guy out. |
| Then he played one of his new favorite apps, it's called teach your monster to read. It's all about letter names and letter sounds, and he thinks it's the greatest game ever! |

| My thoughtful pal Leslie hooked us up again with some family fun! K & T were excited when they saw these beauties, they both like cake and helping in the kitchen. |
| This eager helper was ready to dump everything into the mixing bowl. |
| He is a great helper too. |
| Mix, mix! |
| While the cakes were baking, it snowed outside. Made the day perfect. |
| After the cakes cooled, we frosted them and then got to work on the decorating. K wanted to do the strawberry cake and carefully put the candies into a cute pattern. |
| T got to decorate the chocolate cake. He quickly started eating the candies. |
| And put a few on the cake. |
| Then ate a few more. |
| Hey Dude! Save some for the cake. |
| T did a great job when he focused on the task at hand. |
| That was eating the candies right? |
| Right. |
| These look perfect, thanks K & T! |
| We bought heart shaped ravolis to have for dinner that we ate with spaghetti sauce and a yummy salad. K reminded us that is was a special dinner, so we should have candles. How cute is that! |
| She couldn't decided which cake to try for dessert, so we gave her a bit of both! She ended up liking the candies on each of them. |
| T liked them both as well. Mr. SweetTooth. |
| We kept up with a tradition that we started last year, we put hearts on the kids' door for the first 14 days of February. K asked me this year if she could make one for us. She wrote "I love you to the moon and back". I loved it! |
