We played in the waves & the sand a bunch over vacation, but we did lots of other fun things too. I tried to take pictures to remember the happenings of this OBX trip. Our vacation was so awesome, it needed a second post!

| So, this happened. I was looking at K one morning and noticed her smile seemed a little off. I checked her bottom tooth, and sure enough it was VERY loose! I couldn't believe it, she's just 4! She hadn't ever mentioned it feeling funny, and we brush every teeth every day and didn't notice. I asked her if I could try to pull it out and she agreed to let me try one time... |

| Booya! It came right out. It's still shocking that it happened. When we got home from vacation, she had a scheduled dentist appointment that assurred us that this is completely normal. She is a little early, but the dentist guessed that she probably got her teeth early too. T cut one the night we brought him home, at just 5 months, so this is probably true. K was super excited to learn about the tooth fairy, I thought we had at least a year to talk about these things! Thank goodness the tooth fairy travels. She found us in OBX, and even wrote K a cute note and left her some money and a mermaid necklace. She's lost another tooth since we've been home, and the dentist told us that she has at least three more loose. She's growing up too fast! |

The beach is awesome, but we had fun doing other things too. The lost tooth was just icing on the cake to a memorable vacation!
