General Conference was Easter weekend this year, and it was wonderful!  We loved listening to this bi-annual church conference on tv and hearing the prophet and apostles speak.  What a glorious time to be alive!  We spent the weekend listening to conference, playing games, being together and of course, enjoyed a visit from the Easter Bunny.

This was a typical conference scene, the kids snuggled down for a minute while the songs were on, and then they would be playing with things quietly/mostly quietly while the speakers spoke.  They especially liked the music.  K thought seeing the prophet speak was really cool.

Easter morning led to the traditional find your basket hunt.  T found his pretty quickly, that bunny hid his behind a curtain.

He got to work at checking out his goodies right away.

K's took a bit of finding, but with a few clues, she nailed it.  The bunny had hidden hers under several blankets next to our tv stand.

She was so excited to find it and look at each treat!

I mustache you a question! 

Why is she screaming?  Because that loony bunny actually brought K a Barbie movie.  Wowzers.  I don't allow Barbie in the house, doesn't he know that?  K was over the moon!

She put her bracelets on, and gobbled up a chocolate bunny right away.

"Mom, can I have these both?".  

"And now this one?"  Sure buddy.  It's Easter.  Just this one day.

After the candy eating and new toy playing, it was time dance to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir singing.

K's baby watched everything.  She's always close by.

Easter breakfast.  The kids must have had so much fun on Easter Sunday looking for eggs and goodies.  They have had more egg hunts all month!

See?  It's been really fun.

Easter is such a grand time to remember the Savior and His sacrifice for us. We are so blessed to know that the Savior lives and loves us.   We loved hearing the words of conference and listening to the uplifting music.  And of course, we all liked the bunny visit too.  Can't wait until next year!
