Sundays can be a tough day here nap-wise. The kids still nap from about 2:30-5 everyday. Unfortunately, our church time for the year is from 1-4pm. (We switch to 9am-12 in January, and I can not wait, I love morning church!!) We've played around with all kinds of things to help the kids stay healthy and on their nap schedule, and that allows us to attend all of our church meetings. Changes in the nap schedule seems to affect T the most. What we have been doing recently was putting them down for about an hour when we get home from church and they still go to bed at the regular time.
This past Sunday was the first time that we actually did not put them down when we got home, and they both asked us why. Such funny kids. We knew that they were tired from our fun, but very busy weekend, and that they would go down early after a good dinner. We just needed to keep them busy for a little while so that we could make actually dinner and get our bedtime routine ready. Flashlights (or f-w-ash-w-ights as they both say) to the rescue!
My friend Tracy found these cute Halloween flashlights and bought them for K & T last week since she knew they enjoyed the laser candy pointers so much. These lights are perfect for them, they are small, and have little interchangeable discs that pop on and off to change the picture that is beamed off the light. K & T are having a blast with them! I took some pictures of them enjoying their new lights. Thanks Tracy for making our Sunday evening so much fun!
BTW, they were both asleep 7:45 and slept through the night. I adore these sweet babies.

| Just look at the excitement on their faces! I told them to go into the bathroom with the lights out, that I had surprise for them. They are almost giddy! |
| Trying to chance the picture disc. |
| Watching the picture on the ceiling, and avoiding Mommy's camera. |
| Trying another new picture. |
| K ran to the couch to try out her light. |
| Such a happy girl! |
| Trying her hand at switching discs. |
| "Shining, shining, shining" she said as she showed me her pumpkin shadow. |
| This guy sat still for several minutes just playing with the discs. |
| K decided to move into the dark bathroom to shine pictures. |
| Loving it! |
| The closest thing I got to a smile or a picture actually showing his face. He was quite involved with these lights and apparently didn't want to be disturbed. |
| He retreated to the living room to try to escape my camera! |
Thanks again Tracy for thinking of K & T, they had a blast!
