Shadow

We took a walk last week and K found her shadow for the first time.  She was so expressive about it.  "Mommy, he get me!" (Everything 'gets her' these days, we always reassure that her that she is safe.)   I tried to explain that her shadow is with her all the time, and that it can be fun to play with, but how do you really explain that to a 2 year old?  Throughout the walk she found her shadow in front and behind her and pointed it out every time.  It was fun watching her make a new discovery.  Of course, I snapped some pics.

She hasn't spied the shadow yet.

Telling me to she's outside. "I outside Mommy". 

Just after she realized she had a shadow.  I told I had one too.

Then we rolled T into the pic to find his shadow.

"I in the tree Mommy, see?"

T was along for the ride.
