14 never looked so good!

Here we are, with two 14 years olds for the next 6 weeks! It's the best time of the year. It's so fun to tell people the ages of our children, and then I say they aren't actual twins, they are Irish twins. T loves it too, while K doesn't :) It's just a fun fact about them.

T is a great young man. He has overcome some challenges this year at school, and has proved he really can do hard things. He is a smart guy, he has a quick sense of humor, and he is a leader in his life. T is in 8th grade, he still loves his friends, and is always up for fun. This year he's doing really well in Science and ELA, and anything to do with technology. He continues to be athletic, he's always moving, and still loves to be outside playing basketball in our driveway, or practicing Lacrosse in the backyard. He likes to ride his bike, challenges us about wearing a helmet, and enjoys time with his friends.

This summer we got to go to Australia to see my mom's family. K & T did great on the long plane, their first ever. They embraced the relatives they met, they tried all kinds of new foods, listened well to the Aussie accent, saw lots of Aussie animals, and enjoyed being in a new place. Every time we were at a beach T wanted to walk in the water. It was fall in Australia, and cold (they are opposite of the US in seasons), but it didn't stop him from taking off his shoes and getting in. He is always up for an adventure and he loves water.

He's growing up quick, in size and maturity. It's incredible that he will be in high school next year. Kindergarten feels like yesterday! Here's to our sweet boy. You are the baby we prayed for. You are our miracle. Thank you for being you!
