H is for House

Seriously, looking at these abc pics makes me long for summer something awful! I am always so grateful when I go back and read this blog that I have kept it up, despite how behind I am.  So here we go.

H is for House, a fairy house that K saw in a magazine a couple of years ago.  I had had it in the back of my mind for sometime, and went looking for plants for this project with my mom one afternoon.

While I planted, the kids went looking for rocks that we could use to decorate with.

They did a great job creating a walkway for the fairies.
Taking a sprinkler break.
Cute fairy.
We went shopping for a couple of accessories for the house, now that the garden was created.  These kiddos love craft stores like their Momma does!

Gathering up our materials.
Trying the door.

Gluing the door on.  He counted to 60.

K chose to glue on the flowers.
They thought it was awesome that we smeared glue all over the place.

Loving the fairy garden scissors.
All done!  Time to dry.

We loved how this turned out, and the kids had fun adding to this planter over the summer.  I wish I would have taken a picture at the end of the season, those plants climbed and curved beautifully!  H is for House. This was is a must do again.
