I keep telling myself not to feel so guilty about being behind on this blog, at least I'm still at it right? My summer vacation will be here in a week, and then I can think about catching up. Until then, here's several random photos from the past couple of weeks.
| T sitting with Grandma, using her magnifying glass. He thought it was super cool. |
| Worms. One of this guy's favorite things. Just one thing wrong with this picture...he's standing inside the house with it! I love that he loves worms, but they are outside things! :) |
| As he did this, he said, "Momma, say cheese!" I did. And then I took his picture. :) |
| K is looking more and more grown up these days. She continues to be all about the accessories. She has on a necklace almost every single day. This rainbow colored beauty is one of her faves. |
| K chooses to wear her hat backwards at teeball practice. Too cute! |
| These two cuties were talking to me through the window recently, I just love their sweet little faces, Adorable! |
| My pal Leslie made sure everyone knew it was my birthday recently. She brought me a bunch of purple goodies! My first graders thought I looked great. |
| More worms. This time he said, "Momma, come see, I made an M, but the worm doesn't want to stay that way". My mommy-teacher heart was proud of the letter making. |
| K painted these for me for my birthday. I love her use of color, and space. She usually uses the entire paper, a skill not many children tend to do. |
| The kids just keep growing up on me, and I want to remember every moment. I looked in on them sleeping and quickly snapped a picture from their doorways last week. T is sleeping on a pillow, with another at his side. He's got one of his two star wars blankets on him, as well as one of his favorite muslin swaddling blankets from when he was much younger. Friend (his blue lovie) is tucked in there too. That green glow is a night light that casts stars on his ceiling and his sound machine that plays 'pond' sounds is quietly playing on his dresser. He sleeps with warm jammies and socks on, as he tends to get cold really easily. We still sit in his room at night while he goes to sleep, but it doesn't take too long. Once he's asleep, he won't wake until morning. Sleep tight little one. |
| Here's K. She also has a pillow at her side, and is laying on one. Baby (her dollbaby) is tucked in with her, and she insists on being surrounded by lots of other stuffed things. She has a Carebear that casts stars on her wall, and a sound machine that plays lullabyes. She sleeps without socks, summer jammies, well under the covers, and her pink princess blanket close by. After our nightly talk, and a round of Skid-a-ma-rink and prayer, K falls asleep quickly and is asleep all night. She seems to need more sleep than T, usually falling asleep before him, and sleeping in after he wakes up. Sleep tight princess. |

| Last up, we got a book of 'how to' draw and paint for K a couple of weeks ago. She looked at the how to draw and paint mermaids, and this is her first try at it. She really loves art! |
