Nana is really going for the Nana of the Year Award. I came home last Monday to a chocolate cake fresh from the oven, and one smiley little girl. K then told me about the Strawberry Shortcake game she was playing on the ipad, which is one of her faves, and how Nana said she had all those ingredients at her house. And then Nana asked would K like to make the chocalicious cake, for real. And then they did. T helped too.
We had it for dessert with raspberries and whipped cream. It was chocalicious for sure!
At night just before bed, I ask the kids individually what their high and low points of the day was. K said that this 'was the best day ever' because she got to make the cake. Thank you Nana!
