on the move

K & T are always on the move, as most toddlers are.  They especially seem to love anything having to do with jumping, and have made up a couple of jumping games that only they understand the rules to.
They dragged these beanbags in front of our couch and with a little help from Dad jumped and jumped and jumped!
K in action!
Getting ready to land.
T having a blast!
They had tons of fun couch jumping, and did it again for several evenings in a row.
T has been taking our couch cushions off for a couple of months, and was just putting them in a big pile.  He recently learned to line them up for another version of couch jumping.
He's taking his position.
He's getting ready to jump....
...and he's off!
It's almost a perfect landing!
These two can find fun in just about anything.  Andy & I were doing a little wrapping recently, and K & T scooped up some of our paper and were off on a ride.  I love how well they usually play together.
Running with their paper horses.
It's always monkey see, monkey do!
This week we tried something new, we visited an indoor trampoline and had a blast!  They have a time specifically for toddlers, it was something we all enjoyed and would go back to do again.  Here's a look at that jumping adventure.
Us modeling our sky socks, special socks to help lessen slipping.
K knew just what to do when she saw the dozens of trampolines, JUMP!
It's supposed to be one person per trampoline, but these two managed to jump together a time or two.  It's hard to keep them apart!
K did lots of jumping & bouncing, while T ran and ran and ran.  Up and down, using the blue covers as a path, he ran and ran and ran.  Along with several other toddler boys, they looked like a running club as they ran to and from each other.  It was a lot of fun to watch.

There was also a large pit of foam cubes that the kids took turns jumping into.  The pit is actually 6 feet deep, but our lightweights barely cracked a dent into it.
Surprisingly, K didn't want to jump in, but sat down and scooted in, as if she was getting into a pool.
Then she would run across the surface.  To each his (or her) own!
We had so much fun!
Can't wait to do it again!
K & T are on the move everyday, it has been incredible to watch them play together.  I love listening to their little conversations and helping them as they grow.  It's all going so very fast!
