Walkabout

Our weather has been a little kooky lately with the back and forth between warm and cold, but we are trying to make the best of it.  The kids love being outside and we have been taking advantage of the extended daylight as we march towards Spring.  I grabbed the camera for a recent walk with K & T, it's always an adventure!
K must always bring something along on a walk, on this day she chose two shovels that she had recently used in the snow.   Sunglasses complete the look.
Cutie K.
T opted for keys on the walk.  I tried to put gloves on him but lost the battle.  He can pull them off and throw them down quicker than I can get them back on him.  After a few attempts, we both settled on a blanket across his lap.
Walking down the street looking for the turkeys.
Doing a little landscaping along the way.
'Nak (T for snack) are also a must on a walkabout with these two.
Still looking for the turkeys...
T shares his snack with K.
Future geologist?  She sure likes rocks!
Not sure how it happened, but T wound up with K's shovel. He tried to eat his snack with it.  Like it was a spoon.  More than once.
When it was time to go in, K ran up our neighbor's driveway for just one more pic.  We are anxious for more warm days!
