Learning...

Oh how we love our little man!  He is charming, funny, and a calming force in our home.  In the past few days we have learned so much about him:
*He is quite the snuggle bunny.  He loves to lay face to face with whoever is holding him or will snuggle into our necks.
*He is so ticklish!  He has a funny little laugh that just makes us giggle.
*He does not like rice cereal.  We will keep trying.
*He is cutting his first two teeth!  This has caused him to be unusually grumpy at times, but we know that this will pass.
*He prefers to be held rather than tummy time. And who wouldn't?
*He is learning to blow raspberries!
      *He sleeps with a binky.
*He can roll over from back to front and is getting much better at front to back.
*He can scoot or roll to get a toy that he wants on the floor.
*He is just beginning to pull at his feet to get his socks off.
      *He is a daddy's boy!

Miss K is one of the loves of our life! She is full of love, spunk, independence, and oh my goodness is she smart! We have so enjoyed getting to know her over the past few days.  So far we know that:
*She can sign 'please', 'dog', 'thank you', 'milk', 'more' 'ball, 'play' & 'done'.
*When she says 'yea' she means 'yes' and she means it.
*She shakes her head for 'no'.
*She LOVES being outside!  She has a little step stool that she has pulled up to our window and keeps us informed of when the neighbors' let their dog out. She also watches for birds.
*When we play outside she loves to smell the flowers, walk in the mulch (we're working on staying in the grass), march ahead of us if we're walking, sit in the stroller and drive the cozy coupe car. She likes to play with the bouncy ball in the grass and also pick handfuls of clover.
*She uses a binky but will trade it for a cup of milk. She prefers milk over most food at the moment.
*She likes to eat sliced cheese, banana puffs, cheese pizza, red grapes, goldfish crackers, & yogurt.
*She does NOT like having her hair washed.
*She can say 'Mama', 'Dada', 'more', 'dog' and 'go'
*She likes to watch Signing Times and sings the ending words in a couple of songs.
*When she's tired she says, 'night night' and climbs up onto the couch.
*She likes to play in the kitchen sink full of water and measuring cups.
*She is a Mommy's girl!  I love how she follows me around most of the day. She helps get T a binky when he is crying, she likes to throw things away, and she understands so much of what we say!

Have I mentioned how much we love them? :)
