Our beautiful boy is 15! T is always full of fun, life and laughter. He loves a good joke, and loves to tell them. He takes on everything he does with 100% effort and doesn't look back. This year was full of downs and ups, to be honest, our most challenging yet. It isn't easy being a teenager these days! We seem to be on the other side of things now, and are grateful for second chances and continued time together. We know the pressures of growing up and fitting in are tough, T is a champ.
T started high school this fall, as well as an early morning religion class. He gets up most days on time with a few reminders, and is up for the day. He's doing well at school, his best start yet. He swam on our local swim team again this summer, and played lacrosse in the spring. He's in a fall lacrosse league right now, and is counting the days until spring league again. This summer he also auditioned for a play for the first time and loved being a part of the Newsies cast. He was so fun to watch! He also ran cross country for the first time this year and really got into beating his personal best each meet.
He has been taking voice lessons to prepare for another musical audition, but will switch back to piano soon. Piano isn't his favorite thing to do, but I hope he will grateful one day that he knows how to play well. :)
T is the sweetest kid, he still likes to help others, he loves to be with his friends, and he continues to love sports. He's got a great voice, and still sings to himself throughout the day. He loves music, plays the radio loud in the shower, and has an earbud in his ear quite often. We love him so much, and once again are so grateful that he's ours. We are proud of him.

How old are you today? 15
Why are you excited to be 15? I don't know, I feel like it's just a number. But I might get my temps.
What is your favorite color? Blue (this is a change, last year it was red, but now we are back to blue)
What is your favorite animal? A lion Why? Because it just is.
What is your favorite book? I don't read books. (he prefers an audiobook)
What is your favorite TV show? Maybe PLL. (proleague lacrossse) I don't watch a lot of tv, I watch YouTube
What is your favorite movie? Newsies
What is one of your favorite songs? You'll Be Alright Kid by Alex Warren
What is your favorite food? Cheeseburger with meat and cheese, add bacon from Five Guys (no condiments or vegetables whatsoever)
What is your favorite breakfast food? eggs & bacon
What is your favorite drink? Voltage Mt. Dew (but we encourage him to not drink a lot of caffeine) What is your favorite snack? Twix
What is your favorite candy? SweetTarts (a continued favorite)
What is your favorite video game? Rainbow 6 Siege
What is your favorite toy? Nerf guns. (Same as last four years.)
Who is your best friend? F, they have been besties since they were toddlers

What is your favorite thing to do outside the house? Lacrosse (same as last year)

What is a cool thing about 9th grade? I'm in high school now
What do you want to be when you grow up? Probably a fire fighter, or some kind of service
What kind of person are you growing up to be? I'm a brave person, and I try to help other people

This year he wanted to invite a friend, who is a girl, to an arcade for dinner with our family and video games which we will do this weekend. He also asked for Chick-fil-a for dinner on his actual birthday, and a chocolate cake with vanilla frosting for dessert. He asked for Apple Air Pods for his bday, an Essentials sweatshirt and some lacrosse gear. This kid still loves a good hoodie!
