He's Six!

Oh my goodness how time flies.  Weren't T's teeth just coming in and causing him all kinds of ear issues? And now he's lost 7 with another one very loose.  This young man started Kindergarten this fall, and is loving it!  He told me he loves his teacher, and the Lego station this week.  He also likes to run races at recess with his friends. 

T is full of energy, speaks his mind, is loyal, has a big heart, would give anyone the shirt off his back, a good friend, feisty, and fun.  He continues to love doing anything outside, and is one of the stars on his soccer team.  He smiles when he runs, and listens well to his coaches. He still loves to do monkey bars, and seems to climb anything when we were are standing still.  He is a happy helper, likes to play family games, loves Nerf anything and is taking piano lessons with K. 

 We continue to be in awe that we get to be his parents.  He is a dream come true!

In our birthday tradition, here's T in a nutshell, in his very own words..

How old are you? 6 (and lays his head on my shoulder and watches me type)
Why are you excited to be six? Because I like to have presents and being in the big kids ( I think he means being thought of as a big kid)

What is your favorite color?  Blue (this hasn't changed his whole life)

What is your favorite animal?  Uhh, lion (same as last year)

What is your favorite book? Creepy Carrots (same as last year) and Creepy Pair of Underwear (a sequel)
What is your favorite TV show?  Tom & Jerry probably

What is your favorite movie?  Lego City, I've watched it at our house

What is your favorite song? It's Eye of the Tiger

What is your favorite food? Tella (Nutella sandwiches or toast)

What is your favorite breakfast? donuts. And my dinner is grilled cheese

What is your favorite drink? Sprite

What is your favorite snack? Probably Fruit Snacks.

What are your favorite clothes? Fire engine stuff.
What is your favorite candy? Um, Skittles ( I think it's really Jolly Ranchers, or any candy really.  He remains Mr. Sweet Tooth)

What is your favorite game? Nerf guns

What is your favorite toy?  Nerf guns

Who is your best friend? J (a boy from his preschool class last year)

What is your favorite thing to do inside? do Nerf guns. We shoot 'em at each other.

What is your favorite thing to do outside? Scootering. (Riding his scooter.  He & K added the 'ing' to the word to make it a verb, and it's too cute to correct!)

Where is your favorite place to go? Where did we go yesterday?  Oh yeah. Skyzone (a trampoline park)

What do you want to be when you grow up? A fire kind of guy, a fire guy or a police man

What is your favorite thing to do at school? Play with my friends outside.

What is a cool thing about Kindergarten? I don't know that yet.  I guess learning.
