K is in third grade this year and has two amazing teachers. One teacher is for reading and one is for math/science/social studies. That's big stuff! K loves to pick out her daily outfits, and accessorize them with necklaces and earrings. She wears her hair both up & down, and never the same way two days in a row. K continues to be a superstar in school. She makes great grades, loves to learn, is kind to others, and loves to help. In the morning, we get there about an hour before school starts, she likes to help teachers out with classroom tasks, and she helps me too. She also can be found drawing, setting up domino mazes and playing with the other teachers' kids.
After school K likes to ride bikes with T if we don't have to be anywhere, they are both riding two wheelers now, and are fast! They also still play basketball, jump on the trampoline, swing, and dig all over the yard. K still loves her babydoll Baby, and still loves art and doing puzzles if she is inside. Legos are popular with her and T too. Crafts are her number one hobby. She makes paper creations using paper, tape and curling ribbon all the time. She also finds it relaxing to color and draw. She usually does her homework and piano practice without complaint and loves to snuggle with her quilt and watch something on tv if she has free time. K is doing gymnastics again, and is in a play at school that takes place this December. They are doing Frozen Jr. and she is one of the storytellers. Between play practice, activity days at church, gymnastics and piano, she is a busy girl!
From the day we met K, she has loved horses. She has talked about riding them forever. This year for her birthday she is asking for horse riding lessons instead of toys. Her wish will be granted! We will take some time off of gymnastics, and we are hoping she will start riding lessons in January. I hope she will love every moment of it, she has been looking forward to this for so long.
K is super fun to talk to. It's like talking to a grown up gal pal. She has opinions, asks questions and loves to be told stories of when she was little.
