Dear Birthmom of K & T,
On this Mother's Day eve, I want you to know that we prayed for you tonight with the kids just as we have for years. Tonight I reminded the kids to ask Heavenly Father to watch over you, and bless you, and that you would know that you are loved.
K & T know they are adopted. They've always known. We have told them over & over how loved they are by so many, including you. I don't know you, but I think about you often, and as we have approached this Mother's Day, you've been on my mind a lot. I don't really know what more to say, except thank you. Thank you for wanting the kids to be raised in a happy home, with two parents. Thank you for wanting K & T to go to church. Thank you for giving them life. Just thank you. We hope only the best for you. Please know that K & T are very happy, healthy children who love life. They are each other's best friend. They are silly, they are smart, they are funny, they are crazy cool!
