rain, rain

A couple of nights ago it began to rain while we had our window open.  It was just a light rain, so we left the window and let the breeze come in.  K & T have recently begun to sit on this ottoman when the window is open and love when the wind comes in.  They also like to watch the birds in the yard, flick the bugs that land on the screen and yell 'HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!' to our neighbors.  On this particular evening they were enjoying the rain when it began to blow in the window on the breeze.  Rather than freak out, they did the cutest thing, they put their feet up on the windowsill and laughed as the droplets hit their toes.  I loved just watching them enjoy the moment together.  I just count my lucky stars that I get to watch them grow up.  They are awesome kids.
