Out & About

We've been having so much fun and keeping ourselves busy as summer is wrapping up.  Hence the no blogging...  Too much playing!  Last week we met up with my friend Ruby and her two adorable kiddos at the aquarium.

K really liked seeing all of the fish, and signed and signed 'fish' to me.  :)

She especially liked the part where she got to help push the stroller and walk around.  "Pewsh" = push in K's language.  K kept us moving right along. Ruby's son P liked to push the buttons all around the aquarium, he's quite the button spotter!

Here's Ruby trying to help K feel comfortable around some new friends.  K didn't buy it.

T was quite content to chill in the back and take it all in.  The bink is still a constant presence for him, but we've started a phase out for K.

This is a shark tank where the kids can pet the sharks and get close and personal with them.  K was all about it.  No one told her to lay down, she just watched a shark begin to swim low and she got down.  Too cute!

K LOVED Ruby's little one B.  I could just tell that K was thinking, 'she's a real, alive baby doll'!  We had a terrific morning watching the fish and playing with friends.  Thanks Ruby, P & B!

We stopped to eat lunch with Daddy since we were passing right by his office.  Seeing T's foot sticking out here just makes me giggle!  He is sitting in his carseat on the table apparently wanting to be noticed!

Then he got all shy.  I think he means 'No pictures please'.

Another day recently, we met up with my dear friend Karen and her sweet daughter Val at the zoo.  T was excited about the trip!  See that cheesy smile?

K and Karen are fast friends, anyone who will take you to see your favorite animal, the "Ellll" as K says, or elephant, is a keeper.

Thanks for such a great day at the zoo Karen & Val, can't wait to do it again!

So, that's what we're up to.  Lots of playing, lots of outings, lots of friends, and lots of love.  (Can't you just tell these two are brother & sister?  We adore them!)
